Mouad Dahbi

Mouad Dahbi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Materials Science, Energy, and Nanoengineering (MSN) at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) in Morocco. Dahbi completed his Ph.D. in Chemistry and Electrochemistry in 2013 at the University of Tours, France. Before assuming his role at UM6P, he was an Assistant Professor at Tokyo University of Science in Japan and served as a Project Assistant Professor in the Elements Strategy Initiative for Catalysts and Batteries (ESICB) at Kyoto University from 2015 to 2017. He became a faculty member at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University in 2017 and has also been a visiting scientist at Argonne National Laboratory in the USA (August 2022). In acknowledgment of his significant contributions to the field of electrochemical energy storage, he received the "IALB Young Researcher Award." Dahbi is author or co-author of over 100 publications, patents, and book chapters, accumulating over 11,651 citations and achieving an H-index of 29. His current research focuses on material science and electrochemistry in electrochemical energy storage including rechargeable Lithium, Sodium, and Redox flow batteries.
